Susan Hardy’s series of prints: West Highland Way I-IV 2014, intaglio solar print on used tea bags with natural plant dye, 17 x 17 inches each, Edition of 5; are on view at the John D. Rockefeller Library, Brown University. The works are inspired by a recent long-distance hike in Scotland along the West Highland Way. The tapestry effect is an influence from Hardy’s years of living in West Africa in the 1990s.
West Highland Way will be on loan to the library for a year. The loan was an invitation of the Joukowsky Family University Librarian, Harriette Hemmasi.
