Susan Hardy’s new work Tea Bag Tapestry II, a solar print on tea paper, is included in the Turner Prize National Print Competition and Exhibition at The Turner Print Museum, California State University, Chico, CA.
This year’s juror for the 10th Biennial Competition is Anne Collins Goodyear, co-director for the Bowdoin Museum of Art, former associate curator of prints and drawings for the Smithsonian and president of the College Art Association. A juror’s talk will be held Thursday, February 20 at 5:30 p.m. “Pushing Boundaries” received 198 different works from 120 entrants from 32 different states. Only 45 artists were selected by Goodyear to be a part of the exhibition.
Exhibition dates are January 27 – February 22, 2014.
