Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York City
Cade Tompkins Projects is honored to place a spectacular collection of over 20 contemporary artists’ works on Floor 7 of the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. We are proud to bring fine art to this cutting-edge research and treatment center and to provide a moment of respite during the perseverance of patients, family, doctors, and personnel.
Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is one of our nation’s most inportant research hospitals with cancer treatment and care. The commitment made by MSK, its CEO, top administrators, physicians and nurses to the well-being and care of their patients is reflected in the high standards of the fine art installed on the 7th floor of the main hospital building on York Avenue in New York.
Plans are underway with Cade Tompkins Projects for the installation of fine art in the newly constructed MSK Nassau. It’s incredibly exciting to see these buildings take the next step in their transformation from vision to reality, said Craig B. Thompson, MD, MSK President and Chief Executive Officer. Vision is the key as we look towards the visual arts to inspire, enrich, calm and restore doctors, nurses and patients throughout the hospital.
We respect those who care deeply about the visual power of fine art to be an important and inspirational element of beauty and meditation that adds to the healing environment of each MSK Hospital.
